Colonel Daniel Tilden, American Revolutionary Army. Marched as a Captain from Lebanon, CT, "for the relief of Boston" in the Lexington Alarm, April 1775. Served as First Lieutenant in Captain Clark's Company of Colonel Israel Putnam's Regiment, May 1775-December 1775. Served as First Lieutenant and Adjutant in Colonel John Durkee's Regiment, promoted Captain September 1776. Appointed Captain in Colonel Samuel McClellan's Regiment, March 1778.
