We are not sure about Mary's parents. The 1880 census shows a household in Shoal Creek, Logan, AR, with a 10 year old daughter named Mary and parents named Clayborn Gunter and Nancy Gunter. Nancy's maiden name was probably Doyle. We are researching this.
