In October 2007 John Giroux of Syracuse, NY spotted a recent wooden grave marker (see photo) while hiking on Mount Roderick in Taylor Valley State Forest about 50 miles west of Otsego, NY. The marker reads LIDELL with the names Simeon 1795-1867 and Ruby (Allen) 1795-1877. There are old stone foundations nearby. It is not known who is maintaining the grave marker.

Does this mean Simeon was married to his first cousin Ruby Allen, daughter of Elias Allen and Wealthy Bill?
