http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=119342442Norma Dean "McCutchen" Patterson, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, went home to be the Lord Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Fort Smith at the age of 92.
She was born February 12, 1921 in Abbott, Arkansas to the late Fred and Cora (Slaughter) McCutchen.
Norma was also preceded in death by her brother, John G. McCutchen; two sisters, Jo Garner and Barbara Patterson; and her son, John K. Patterson.
Norma was a member of First Baptist Church in Lavaca, where she had sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31st, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Curtis Smithson officiating. Burial will be at Lavaca City Cemetery in Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, J.C. "Jake" Patterson of Lavaca; one son, James Patterson and wife Lynn of Lavaca; four grandchildren, Alicia Dooly and husband Jay of Lavaca, Angela Wimberly and husband Jim of San Diego, California, Jamie Patterson and wife Jamie Lynn of Lavaca, Andrea Nevel and husband Greg of Springdale; one sister, Juana Corrine Couch of Saginaw, Texas. Norma is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Jessica Shay White, Logan Jay Dooly, Luke Nevel, Sam Nevel, Jack Nevel, Kate Nevel, Myla Patterson, and Hadley Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Jon White, John Townsend, Rick Withers, Rick Dooly, Bill Ray, and Davin Green.
