Sue White, long time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on October 19, 1908, in Altus, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 22, 2005, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 96 years. Sue was the daughter of Dillon and Alma (Bryce) Patterson. She was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in the class of 1929 with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts. Sue married Clifford L. White in Norman, Oklahoma on June 5, 1929 at 6:00 A.M. Sue was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Chandler, a member of the Lincoln County Historical Society, Lincoln County on Stage and numerous other local organizations. Her parents, husband Clifford, on May 25, 1975, and two brothers preceded Sue in death. Survivors include: two sons & daughters-in-law: Jack E. & Camilla White of Okla. City, OK, Carl & Vonne White of Terra Haute, IN; two daughters & sons-in-law: Martha Sue & Ed Keegan of Rockwall, TX, Jane & Jan Carlson of Stillwater, OK; 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 122 W. 10th, Chandler, Oklahoma 74834 or Lincoln County Historical Society, 717 Manvel, Chandler, Oklahoma 74834. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, August 25, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Sungsu Hwang officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
