Arrived in New York at 9 months of age. Appears to be in the 1900 census inaccurately as a daughter named Augusta. Appears to have been born in Germany and not Philadelphia, PA.
Appears in 1910 Census in Cleveland listed as head of houshold with his wife and in-laws living with him along with two sons.
In 1920 Census he is living at home with only his wife.
Sons Clyde and Lyle fell through the ice skating on Lake Erie and died 4 Mar 1916. Lyle’s body was found in July and buried. No record of Clyde’s body being found and the cemetery marker is probably just a memorial.
