May appear in the 1930 census living in NJ with a wife Viola and a daugher Eleanor. The data says they were married 15 years but in 1920 Thomas may have appeared with his mother Lydia in another household.

The same family asppears in the 1940 census with Elenor age 21 and a younger daugter age 5 (Joan?) plus a lodger. Eleanor is listed as having completed high school and the Metuchen High School 1938 yearbook has a photo for an Elenor Starr.
